I'm a freelance artist and solo indie dev! I've been working on video games for about a decade, and art for about half of that time. I'm knowledgeable in Python, Java, C++, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Blender, Unity, and GB Studio. For artwork I tend to use ibisPaint, Krita, LibreSprite, and Tiled.
I currently work for myself due to severe complex PTSD making it difficult to work consistently and with other people. So whatever we get from me is a miracle.
Sometimes my brain does neat things and games get made on a whim, these are the best kind of projects.
Check out Vekari: Remote Bypass, a f2p text-based psychological horror game with an ongoing story! I've poured my heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears into this thing, it's a complete experience of its own! I update story parts biweekly and go through counters for updates weekly: Enter Vekari
I made Poltersprite for GitHub Game Off 2024. It's a ghost investigation game for the original Gameboy made in GB Studio, and placed 127th overall, which I am happy with for my first jam game!
My newest release is Painting Tomorrow, a splatter pinball game about taking up space that follows the implied story of a young transgender man growing in an unsupportive environment. It was made for Trans Joy Jam in Unity but was submitted to a few other jams as well.
I am currently working on the Vekari TTRPG, which will have available files here soon, as well as an untitled chat room game set in the world of Vekari inspired by Club Penguin. At the same time, I continue to upkeep Vekari: Remote Bypass regularly and am working on content updates for Poltersprite and Painting Tomorrow. I keep myself busy!
As a freelance artist, I take commissions and paid projects! I also have a shop full of everything from prints to paintings, plushies, and wooden dice! You can view all of these cool things on my Ko-Fi.
If you would like to collaborate on a project, please reach out! I am most active in the Vekari: RB Discord server or on Bluesky @inkus.ca
