Painting Tomorrow

Paintball meets pinball in this short casual game about taking up space.

Your goal is simple: Paint every surface. Make a mess. Leave your mark.

Piece together the story of a transgender man growing in an unsupportive environment, help him through the darkness of striking out on his own, and revel in finding community and support.  Short text snippets pair with stylized game boards to paint a short narrative that tells a story heard time and time again among LGBTQ+ circles, one of grief but also of strength. In times like these, it is a story that needs told more than ever.

This game was made solo for Trans Joy Jam 2025.

Controls:

Works in browser with a keyboard or a connected gamepad, controls user-bound on startup.  Has touch support!

Defaults:

Keyboard: Arrow keys, Enter, Esc

Gamepad: D-pad, A/B/X [Ntdo/XBox/PS], Start

Touchscreen: Tap menu elements to navigate, swipe left/right for left/right flippers

Left and Right buttons are used to navigate menus and power flippers.

A Button is used to select menu options and to launch marbles.

Menu button is used to pause and unpause the game.
